"Impact of HIV/AIDS on Business-Impact of Business on HIV/AIDS"
On October 25th, Transatlantic Partners Against AIDS (TPAA) and the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC) held meeting of senior business leaders to discuss the "Impact of HIV/AIDS on Business and the Impact of Business on HIV/AIDS." Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke joined other dignitaries and business leaders to discuss how the AIDS epidemic affects your human resources and business, as well as how businesses can get involved and join the global family of companies organizing prevention education for employees and communities and supporting social initiatives to fight HIV/AIDS. GBC unites over 200 companies in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Click here for more information.

ProCredit Bank Teaches Youth about Finance and Savings
On October 15, the poultry company In October, ProCredit Bank opened its doors to students to come in and learn about banking and finance. Several bank branches have established partnerships with neighborhood schools and universities, while bank employees visit schools and institutes to talk about the banking system, the culture of saving money, how to manage a budget and how depositors' funds help to develop the country's economy. ProCredit Bank also provides educational materials targeted to the different age groups that participate. ProCredit Bank has been running its financial education program for three years. Last year, it covered 120 educational institutions and more then 5,700 students and pupils visited branches of the ProCredit Bank on "Open Door Days." The League of Professional Women Promote CSR
On October 26th, the League of Professional Women (LPW) officially announced the start of their project to promote Corporate Social Responsibility in Ukraine by offering trainings and distributing informational materials. With support from the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine's Democracy Grants Program and other media and NGO partners, LPW will contribute to the development of a professional vision of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Ukraine and set up a permanent and regular dialogue by organizing workshops for stakeholders, such as NGO and business leaders, professional organizations and media. LPW will also publish a "CSR Practitioner's Guide," which will include CSR best practices and "Training of Trainers" materials. For more information about LPW, click here.
