Kraft Foods Ukraina and Inter TV Channel announced Koronatsiya slova contest

Kraft Foods Ukraina company and Inter TV channel announced the beginning of the 8th Koronatsiya Slova - 2008 ("Crowning of the Word") contest. Through this national contest of novels, movie scripts and plays, the company, which owns KORONA brand, has supported modern Ukrainian culture, helping more than 70 novels get published since its inception in 1999. In 2007, Kraft Foods Ukraina contributed more than 3 million UAH to support charitable activities, mainly with its products. Click here for more information about the contest (in Ukrainian).

Unilever Encourages Art Among Children

In December 2007, six cities hosted an art competition, "Beauty and Contradiction: Different Worlds" for schoolchildren with support from Unilever Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science. In Kyiv, Lviv, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk, 520 children from 217 schools submitted art projects to Unilever's international competition. The top three national finalists of the Unilever International Schools Art Project "UISAP 2007-2208" will go to St. Petersburg, Russia to participate in cultural awareness activities and the main winner will show his or her work at the "Tate Modern" museum in London. With participation from schools in more than 40 countries, this project is designed to encourage creativity in students. Unilever Ukraine represents the following brands in Ukraine: Lipton, Brooke Bond, Áåñ³äà, Dove, Rexona, Timotei, Sunsilk, CLEAR, Domestos, CIF, Knorr, Calve, Rama, Creme Bonjour. Galnaftogas and International Organization for Migration Joint Initiative

In December 2007, "Concern Galnaftogas" signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Ukraine. Together, they will combat human trafficking and promote legal and safe migration of Ukrainian citizens by conducting a counter-trafficking information campaign in Northern and Western Ukraine, including Lviv, Volyn and Zakarpatska oblasts. Galnaftogas will sponsor counter-trafficking billboards at 12 OKKO gas stations. The billboards will provide people with information how to prevent themselves from getting into trouble overseas. It is also expected that after returning home, victims will be identified and followed to the organizations for qualified help.
