CSR News Expert Ukraine Magazine Hosts International CSR Conference in Kyiv   On April 18, Expert will host its second international CSR conference entitled, "Civilized Economics - Civilized Society." This event will bring together over 150 top managers from Ukrainian and international businesses, representatives from Ukrainian and international charitable foundations, members of the Cabinet of Ministries and Parliament and CSR and business experts. The agenda includes discussions of CSR trends developing in Ukraine, especially social partnerships between local governments and businesses, international best practices in social and economic partnerships, experience from international companies, international CSR standards, social reporting as a tool for dialogue with public and other topics. Ukrainian PR League Organizes International Festival of Public Communications   The Ukrainian PR-League will host seventh the International Festival of Public Communications in Kyiv April 18-20. A full day of activities on April 19 will be devoted to social communications including Corporate Social Responsibility, sponsored by Volia Cable Company. Representatives of Ukrainian and foreign companies, PR and communications departments and international experts will present case-studies of CSR program implementation. Zaporizhzhia Environmental Partnership Project Launches Advocacy Website     The Zaporizhzhia Environmental Partnership Project launched its project web site at www.ecohealth.zp.ua with support from the Zaporizhzhia municipality and the World Bank. The new website will increase public awareness of environmental issues and influence how they are addressed. Recognizing the strong commitment of oblast and city authorities to address current environmental problems, the World Bank provides technical assistance to Zaporizhzhia oblast to improve the local environmental situation. The objective of the Project is to initiate and catalyze a series of steps that will lead to a reduction in pollution levels, thereby improving human health and the business environment, and share the experiences more broadly in an endeavor to scale up impacts in other regions and nationally.
