The Confederation of Employers of Ukraine Recommends Policies on Social Responsibility Development in Ukraine
On May 22, the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine and the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce conducted a round table on "Partnership, Government and Social Responsible Business." Participants made recommendations on government support to develop social responsibility in Ukraine, including raising awareness of the ISO 26000 standards and recognizing CSR efforts, establishing a common platform to coordinate stakeholder efforts and other important issues. Joint EU and UNDP "Consumer Society and Citizen Networks" Project Announces Customer Service Survey Rseults
The European Union (EU) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) presented their "Consumer friendly business practices survey. Ukrainian experience" at a May 20 press conference in Kyiv. Part of their joint initiative, "Consumer Society and Citizen Networks," the survey focused on customer service aspects of 900 Ukrainian and international companies working in Ukraine that deal with retail sales of goods and services. SUN InBev Ukraine and Chernigivske launch "Together for a Clean Town!" in Kyiv
At Kyiv's Hryshko National Botanic Gardens, beverage companies SUN InBev Ukraine and Chernigivske presented "Together for a Clean Town!" part of their "Better World" global initiative. The companies installed over 50 gazebos, benches made from sustainable materials and additional trash receptacles. This program is aimed at increasing public awareness of individual environmental responsibility and nature conservation while reducing the environmental impact of visitors to the botanic gardens.
