Vidi Group and BLG Logistics Donate Supplies to Children's Hospital in Vasylkiv District, Kyiv Oblast
On the eve of Children's Defense Day on June 1, ViDi Group, on behalf of joint venture Å.H. Harms Automobile Logistics Ukraine and German company, BLG Logistics, implemented a joint social project to provide the Vasylkiv District Central Children's Hospital in Kyiv oblast with equipment and financial aid. BLG Logistic's staff in Germany volunteered their time to collect donations and equipment requested by the hospital. They gathered beds, computers, telephones, linens, kitchen equipment, incubators and other goods for the hospital. ViDi Group, represented by Å.H. Harms Automobile Logistics Ukraine, helped to move the donations through customs procedures and transport them to the hospital. During 2006-2007, ViDi Group invested more then 12 million UAH in social projects. Please click here to learn more.

The League of Professional Women and Nadra Bank Present a Guide to CSR for Business and Communications Managers
On June 19, the League of Professional Women and Nadra Bank will present their joint project, "CSR Guide: Basic Information on CSR" in Kyiv. This publication was also supported by the Democracy Grant Program of the U.S. Embassy. The publication authors share their thoughts on CSR trends in Ukraine and in the world with representative of business associations, businesses, NGOs, media. Please contact the League of Professional Women at lpw_network@i.ua to register for the presentation and additional information. The deadline to register is June 14.

ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih Ecological Initiatives
ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih's corporate newspaper, "Metalurg," dedicated its June 5 issue to World Environment Day. The special issue informs stakeholders and the public how ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih incorporates environmentally friendly practices and plans for the near future, including providing facts and figures on environmental standards and local tree planting initiatives and their Ecological Knowledge Management Program for staff worldwide to discuss policy and share best practices.
