RZVA-Elektryk Leads in Supporting Vulnerable Children in Rivne
On July 28, Rivne-based enterprise RZVA-Elektryk announced the results of its program to promote social integration for vulnerable children, "Light up Hope in Children's Hearts." In 2008, PZVA-Elektryk tripled the budget of its previous program to improve the quality of life for at-risk children and contributed UAH 100,000 (about $20,000). The program was implemented in cooperation with the Blagovist Foundation and the Rivne Social Partnership Center. In addition to the current funding, the program implementers raised more than UAH 165,000. This program helped hundreds of vulnerable children to receive additional opportunities for personal development, such as participating in different contests, master-classes and workshops. Also the program invested in social infrastructure development, which included renovations and the purchase of different types of equipment. Eleven projects submitted by local organizations and agencies were supported. Please click here for additional information (in Ukrainian).
